Storyline

Another spring comes, and with it another Beltaine - and the crowning of another Beltaine King. But Rórdán, now living together with Cl&iactute;, is not quite ready to be ritually replaced as the consort of the witch. To make things worse, there are powers in the valley bent on using him to set a trap for Clíodhna. Can the young witch learn to be both woman and priestess, and can R&oactute;rdán resist the temptation to order matters in his own way?

Clíodhna talks about the life of a witch.

A frustrated Rórdán flees into the wilderness.

There, he has a vision of the Goddess and the Raven King.
